I have emailed Blogger for help and have not gotten any so I am taking matters into my own hands...I know...It's annoying. Please deal with it for now, I will hunt them down and have them make it go away. I have seen this happening on other Blogs, so I know I am not alone.

Now, Down to business!!!

Things have been busy. As you can see on the side bar I have joined the other Blemmings (Blog Lemmings) and added a Frapper Map off in the side bar. Please take a moment to put yourself on it. I am curious to see who is out there reading my Blog :o)

I am SOOOOOO close to finishing Pat's sweater!!! Last night I finished the second sleeve and wove in/trimmed all the ends AND sewed the front to the back at the shoulders. Today I will seam up the sleeves if I have time. I have updated the progress bar to show what I have done. I have to say I will be glad to have this off the needles. Not because I don't love my friend Pat, not because I don't love knitting sweaters, not even because I have been knitting this for almost 8 months. I want this off the needles because I am a bit tired of looking at the color Russet. I can't tell you how glad I am that I bought extra yarn. The company is not going to be making more of the 1824 wool line. I have 6 skeins left, plenty to make a few hats or something, when I am done not liking Russet that is :o)

I am but a few scant inches from finishing the orange knee socks and will photograph them ASAP.

AND I am 50% done with the second baby sock. I decided to do the toes in yellow to match the bee hat my friend Gail made for me. I will photograph those also, soon, I promise!

Let's see, what else is going on??? Oh! Orchids. Here are a few photos of the two that are open right now.

This one is called Burana Beauty and smells like gardenias.

This one is called Rosey Sunset "Pink Bouquet" and has no smell at all. Not sure if you can tell from the photo, but it has lovely copper tones in the flower.

Other news in the plant world: There are five other orchid plants getting ready to flower in the house. One Phalanopsis, two Dendrobium and two that lost their tags. Actually I think I bought them without tags, maybe that's why they were so cheap :o) I also have three Key limes on the tree. Not sure how much I can make with three tiny limes....maybe freeze the juice untill I get enough for a pie?

Now the good stuff! Secret Pal!!!! Yay for Secret Pal!!! Mine is most likely the best there is :o) This is what I got in the mail:

Llama Llama Llama Llama DUCK! Yup a purple Devil Duck, two fuzzy Llamas an beautiful knit finger puppet Llama and a Llama Door chime!

A wonderful notepad of stikki notes. I LOVE stikki notes. As my husband will tell you, they are all over the house :o) A little sheep hidden in the quilted pocket. A Secert Fortune Bean plant and a Caramel Vanilla candle.....YUM!

A pattern to make little fuzzy Llamas from Fiber Trends, a lucet and some yarn already started (the lucet has a great handle and some lovely designs burned into the wood), Some super soft Alpaca yarn from Heirloom as well as some lovely soft brown Lana D'oro Cascade yarns. I also received a ball of hand dyed Llama wool to spin!! You are too much Secret Pal!!! Thank you so very much!!! What I don't have photos of are the wonderful fall writing papers, stickers and envelopes she sent me a few weeks ago. I can't wait to find out who you are :o)

That is all I have to write for now. I will post later with lots of photos of my latest wood working project :o)

Cheers!
